Kasey Colleen Design's Fashion Show

Unfortunately, COVID-19 put a pause on most people's lives. Although it has been a rough year, I wanted to use this time for growth in my career and academics. My University was unable to host fashion shows since the pandemic started, which made it extremely difficult to creatively showcase my designs on the runway. Therefore, I decided to take the initiative to plan my own Kasey Colleen Designs Fashion Show, the New Beginnings S/S 2021 collection. The beginning of Spring means a fresh start of a new positive outlook in life. The goal of my show was to give a powerful, encouraging feeling that will inspire others to flourish instead of feeling trapped during this global pandemic. The colors represented in my collection symbolize the gentle and tender side of love, optimism and hope. Effects on feeling are safety, calming, and affection. I want the colors to give off the feeling of optimism and hope during these uncontrollable times.
