Kasey Colleen Design's Fashion Show

I felt like COVID-19 put a pause on most people's lives. Although, yes it has been a rough year, I wanted to use this time for growth, especially in my career and academics. My school has been unable to host fashion shows because of the pandemic, which made it extremely difficult to figure out ways creatively to showcase my designs on the runway. I decided to take the initiative myself and plan my own fashion show with my own collection, New Beginnings S/S 2021. The beginning of Spring means the start of a new positive outlook in life. The goal of my show was to give a powerful positive feeling that will inspire others to grow instead of feeling trapped during this pandemic. Soft pink symbolizes the gentle and tender side of love, as well as optimism and hope. Effects of pink color on feeling are safety, calming, and affection. I want the colors to give off the feeling of optimism and hope during these rough times.
